Woke up by 7 am, cleaned the house ...  until my floor tiles are all crisp and shiny !!!
and by 10 am I had my apple and cinnamon with peanut butter spread sandwich with a steaming black coffee !!! ( yey!!! )
Gathered the three boys ... a splash and swoosh on the bathroom and wiped the monsters and put clean clothes so that they can go out running again and get dirty. lols ! After all they had the energy with their hot dogs , eggs and rice for breakfast while watching Toy Story for the gazillion time ! urgh !!!

So , so... defrosted the chicken for lunch ... chopped some potatoes , garlic, onions , red bell peppers and started cooking chicken - hehe !
And so it simmers ... added tomato sauce and pepper, salt ... yummy... now we are hungry !
The boys and I ate lunch by 12 noon....

Took a bath by past 1 pm and a nap until 3:15 ... turned on the speaker and heard Evanescence singing Hello ... such a sad song ...but I liked it ...
I'm hooked with her songs right now and it's on my phones play list ...

So went down and check on with the monsters- still watching DVD and guess what's on TV  screen ? eheh - Ariel !!! yup the red haired mermaid ... for the love of God they liked Ariel so much and they have it back to back with Woody - over and over and over the weekend ... I guess they must have gone over with McQueen
and those Mighty Morphine Power Ranges !!! well kids !

Fix some sandwich for snacks and hot Milo ....

Changed clothes and fix my ever stiff hair into an untidy bun -lol ~ just one of those " bad hair days " .
Walked for a couple of blocks , checked for the DVD store and after 2 hours of looking finally I settled with Gossip Girl Season 1, too bad their Season 2 is not complete ... so I bought 1 then head off to Supermarket ....

By past 6 I'm already preparing dinner eggplant and ground pork ... just have to eat veggies too ...
Dinner by 7 pm and A Double Dutch Ice cream for the kids dessert . Washed and dressed the kids for bed ...
Tidied the kitchen and got a hot bathe .

So I ate my share of that sinful Double Dutch ice cream watching Gossip Girl Season 1 ... and both are interests me ... til I licked on the last spoonful of the cold creamy delight ...

Gossip Girl is cute more like of  the teenage- socialites life - cute , interesting , intriguing , romantic ... well I liked it... and my fave character is none other than wardrobe queen Blair Waldorf

and planning to get the Second Season.

Thai's Red Chicken Curry

For those who loved spicy dishes you may try my version of Thai’s Red Chicken Curry ;)
i love spicy food !
Ingredients:
3/4 kilo breast chicken fillet cut into bite size (we usually buy the ones from Magnolia chicken cuts at the grocery) or menudo cut chicken pieces
Thai Foods Red Curry Paste ( if you do not have Thai Foods Red Curry Paste you may try tomato paste and chili, sauce & curry powder mix , this is what I do at home )
red & green bell peppers ( julienned )
young corn
Paminta leaves
Fish sauce or patis ( or soy sauce will do )
spring onions
onion (chopped)
ginger ( julienned )
freshly squeezed coconut milk or 1 can of coconut milk
oil

Heat pan or wok, add some oil and saute’ onions, add chicken( sprinkle a dash of salt ) cook for a bit when the chicken meat turns white , add a dash of fish sauce and the ginger , cook for a bit till you can smell the heavenly scent of the fish sauce , add the red curry paste, be ready to add the coconut milk since the curry paste dries up pretty quick once added to the chicken, add the julienned red bell peppers and spring onions & your corn, let it simmer for a few minutes but do not over cook just to thicken the coconut milk ( you may add 1 egg to thicken the texture ) .

My Homemade Toasted Garlic Bread

6 slices of bread ( french or slice bread )
3/4 finely chopped garlic
1 cup butter
1 tsp vegetable oil ( olive oil is optional )
salt
Procedure :

Prepare bread into greased toaster pan
Saute garlic in oil in low heat  , sprinkle salt .
Add butter until it melts , don’t burn garlic just let it turn into light brown .
Brush bread with the butter garlic
Put into toaster for 3-5 minutes .
This goes well with pasta dishes or with coffee or both.

A Belated Birthday to me....

This should be celebrated on January 10 , 2010 but heck I got confined in Mactan Doctors Hospital for Acute Tonsillitis Pharyngitis , so much for the sweets and wines of the holidays !!!

So I celebrated my 28th birthday with nurses and doctors coming in and out my room ... and I'm stuck with a fantastic-nostalgic curtain ....

and a hi-tech charger attacked to my wrist ....

So I decided to do a little Belated Birthday treat !!!!
This happened on Sunday January 17 , 2010 .
heheh ! I cooked Sausage and Mushroom Fetuccini Carbonara( please excuse the picture below it certainly lacks color - lols  but I guarantee you that it tastes awesome !!!! )

and creamy Ube- Macapuno Cake from Goldilocks too !

and then the kids and I watched end up the night with movie marathon as usual ....

we watched :

which to my disappointment both movies are dragging and boring ... I was expecting exciting adventures and more ... more action than talk.... but then we can't always get what we wanted right ? heheh ! At least I am well now  , active , alive and 28 years old ! aaaaarghhhh ! And totally forgot it's Sinulog Festival in Cebu  lols... sign of aging eh ? hahaha !

ALICE IN WONDERLAND 2010 MOVIE by: Disney Films

Alice in Wonderland is an upcoming 2010 fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton. It is an extension to the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. The film will use a technique combining live action and motion capture technology. Mia Wasikowska plays the role of Alice, alongside Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as The White Queen, and Crispin Glover as The Knave of Hearts.

The film is due for release on March 5, 2010[1] and the film will be released in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D, as well as in regular theatres.

Plot

An extension on Lewis Carroll's original stories, Alice Kingsley, now 19, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to by a rich suitor in front of hundreds of snooty society types. She runs off, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited many years before, yet she doesn't remember. The White Rabbit claims to have come back for Alice because she is the only one who can slay the Jabberwock, the beast who guards the Red Queen's empire. Alice remains completely unaware of why she is in Wonderland, and is confused about the fact that she had once visited Wonderland years before. She then embarks big and small on an adventure of self discovery and to save Wonderland from the Red Queen's reign of terror with the help of her Wonderland friends.

 Cast and characters

Mia Wasikowska   as Alice. Alice Kingsley is a 19-year-old young lady "who doesn't quite fit into Victorian society and structure." Her return to Wonderland "becomes a rite of passage as she discovers her voice and herself. Alice will evolve over the course of the new film into a more empowered heroine than in previous incarnations.

The Wonderland Residents

Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Tim Burton explained that Depp "tried to find a grounding to the character, something that you feel, as opposed to just being mad. In a lot of versions it’s a very one-note kind of character and you know his goal was to try and bring out a human side to the strangeness of the character.

Helena Bonham Carter as Mirandathe Red Queen. Bonham Carter's head will be increased in size by three times on screen. Her character is a combination of the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts.

Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Her character does not require digital manipulation. Hathaway summed up her character with a caption on a magnet of Happy Bunny holding a knife; "Cute but psycho. Things even out." Her character also doesn't walk, but instead floats. She is very eccentric and dramatic.

Michael Sheen  the voice of  White Rabbit. Sheen stated, "The White Rabbit is such an iconic character that I didn’t feel like I should break the mold too much.

Alan Rickman  the voice of the  Caterpillar. Rickman was filmed while recording his voice in a studio, but his face won't be composited onto the character's face as originally planned.

Stephen Fry  the voice of the  Cheshire Cat .

Matt Lucas as Tweedledum and Tweedledee. Lucas' face was digitally inserted for both characters, while the body was computer-generated.

Christopher Lee as the Jabberwock. An item in the film called "The Oraculum" suggests that John Tenniel's original design for the Jabberwock will be used in the film.

Paul Whitehouse as the March Hare. The March Hare will be computer animated.

Barbara Windsor as the Dormouse. The Dormouse will also be computer animated
